Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PMGS Digital Marketing (“PMGS ”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with PMGS Analytics (the “Service”), a marketing-analytics platform available at analytics.pmgs.com.au. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — your name, email address, password (stored hashed), and workspace/organisation details you provide when you sign up or are invited.
  • Client and report content — the clients, dashboards, reports, goals, keywords, and settings you create within the Service.
  • Connected data-source data — when you connect a third-party account (for example Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Google Ads, or Meta), we access the metrics and account metadata you authorise so we can display them in your dashboards and reports. See Google user data and API Services below.
  • Usage and device data — logs, IP address, browser type, and activity within the Service, used for security, troubleshooting, and improving the product.
  • Cookies — a small number of first-party cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember preferences.

2. Google user data and API Services

When you connect a Google account, you grant the Service read access to the specific Google services you choose. Depending on the connection, this may include Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, and Google Ads. We request only the scopes needed to retrieve your reporting data — for example, read-only analytics, read-only Search Console data, and Business Profile performance data.

We use this Google data solely to fetch, store, and display your analytics and performance metrics inside the dashboards, reports, and exports you create in the Service. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Limited Use.PMGS Analytics’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, information received from Google APIs is:

  • only used to provide or improve the user-facing analytics features of the Service;
  • not transferred or sold to third parties, except as necessary to provide or improve the Service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition;
  • not used or transferred for serving advertisements; and
  • not read by humans, unless we have your affirmative consent for specific data, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), or to comply with applicable law.

You can review and revoke the Service’s access to your Google account at any time via Google Account permissions, or by disconnecting the data source inside the Service.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and secure the Service.
  • To fetch and display metrics from your connected data sources in dashboards, reports, and scheduled exports.
  • To authenticate you, manage your workspace, and send transactional emails (such as invitations, verification, and report deliveries).
  • To troubleshoot, improve, and develop new features.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Members of your workspace — people you or your administrators invite can see the clients and reports scoped to them.
  • Service providers (sub-processors) — infrastructure and tooling that operate the Service on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, database, storage, and email delivery providers, bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations.
  • Third-party APIs you connect — we exchange data with the platforms you authorise (for example Google) to retrieve your metrics.
  • Legal and safety — where required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PMGS, our users, or the public.

5. Data retention

We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. Metrics synced from connected data sources are retained to power historical reporting. When you disconnect a data source or delete your account, we delete or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or backup purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, encryption of stored OAuth credentials, access controls, and role-based permissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and promptly address any issues we identify.

7. Your rights and choices

  • Access, correct, or update your account information from within the Service.
  • Disconnect any data source at any time to stop further access.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us.
  • Revoke Google access via your Google Account permissions.

8. International data transfers

We are based in Australia and may process and store data in Australia and other countries where our service providers operate. Where data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it is protected consistently with this Policy and applicable law.

9. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.

11. Contact us

If you have questions about this Policy or your data, contact us at privacy@pmgs.com.au, PMGS Digital Marketing, Australia.
